On 14th March 2004, autistic savant Daniel Tammet recited the first 22,514 decimal places of the Pi. He told his story to BBC Radio 4 for their programme "Short Cuts" in the Series 6 episode "Nothing".
Daniel is a synesthete, which means his senses can connect, which helps him to have such a vast memory. For example, he sees numbers as having colours and personalities. It only seemed fitting that a visual companion to Daniel's story be created.
Everything is in Pi was screened at Flatpack Film Festival in April 2016.
